The fridge is working

Here we are 48 hours later and in such a better position.
Great idea TJ.....coming to Budgewoi to try things out and get things working was a very clever idea.
Thanks to John, our campground neighbour and retired electrician, all is well in the caravan.
Since our first night without lights and a few days of trying to get the fridge going all is good.
We have a pile of things that we will drop off at home and a short list of things that we need to pick up.
We have purchased a new mat for the floor of the annexe and will drop off the carpet and have decided to leave behind part of the annexe. This will mean less weight and easier set ups.
TJ tried out the 2 kg washing machine today, quite a few times, as the dirty clothes certainly build up. I was kind of hoping that she would decide to leave it at home as I wanted bait more space in the boot of the car but it all worked well and will be coming with us.
We had a visit today from my sister Leonie and her two beautiful daughters Jessica and Madeleine which was lovely. The kids got to show them around the van and the park. We had a great time and will miss them while we travel.
The kids continue to have a ball revelling in the freedom and friendships that can only be found in a caravan park. They ride their bikes basically from sun up to sundown.
Tonia and I are finding it all a bit harder than expected but I am hoping that things will get a bit easier as we settle into the travelling lifestyle. We are both wondering how we will find time to do school work with the kids and sightsee in between all the time we will be spending on the road???
Anyway time for a cuppa and some more research!
